It's been a long time coming

I guess I should update more often. Much has happened since the last post (If there was one). We are coming up on Christmas in the next couple weeks. Anna, Tanner, and I are all preparing for family to come. The in-laws are coming to spend Christmas with us and Ruth's family. We are so excited! Anna and I are also coming up on our first anniversary which is very exciting! We've been through a lot and been a lot of places in the last year: PA, Idaho, New Mexico, Florida, Missouri and all the states we've driven through in between. We've lived in four of those five states.

Thanksgiving has come and past. It was wonderful. We were able to spend it with some of our best friends: the Penders. Matt and Lauren have been a great support to us and have just been all-around great friends. Thank you! We tried something new this year. Instead of roasting our turkey for hours in the oven, we decided to fry it. We will never go back to roasting!!!! The turkey was delicious! It was the best any of us had ever had! The clincher was that it only took 45 minutes to fry! That beats hours on end that it usually takes. Wonderful. Highly recommended.

Tanner is almost three months old and is growing rapidly. He has been smiling for a few weeks and is learning to react more to our interaction with him. I think he is starting to teeth, too. He doesn't want to suck on his pacifier; he gnaws on it. Here are a few of the more recent photos.

He is getting so big! Well, we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
